Personal News And Threea Merde Mission & TK Oya Sun Coming Soon

I've been away from ThreeA lately.  I've been working 2 jobs and some really difficult personal circumstances arose that have taken me a long way from the CBT store.  Instead I've been focusing on the blog as I can get posts uploaded on the train ride to and from work; and even that has been a struggle lately!  Truth be told, I've only been following the Tomorrow Kings and partially following the upcoming Metal Gear Ray.  This collector is trying to scale back purchases to a few lines and items.

Previously teased, I've been keeping an eye out for this little merde for a while.  So you can imagine my surprise when I sat down on the train to work and saw ThreeA was doing a surprise drop for Cold Merde Mission!  I immediately started scanning bambaland, 3AVox, and 3A twitter, and lo and behold I was able to get one of the last batch of Merde's!  I like the design and the multitude of holsters and straps and overall adventure-y look.  I think Cold Merde Mission is going to be a great addition to my collection and can't wait to get it!  No sure if I'll be removing it from the card or not, as a blister pack is a great display method.  We'll know once it arrives!

I wonder what goes inside?

In other 3A news, there is an upcoming Tomorrow King release, slotted for Oct 18th at 9:00 AM HK time.  The next Tomorrow King, dubbed the Ronin OYA Sun is descending with the most interesting gear yet!  What looks to be a giant bomb, a stylized jacket/bomb suit with a Daito vs the stand katana.  Positioned as the first of 4 figures in the TKLUB series towards a classic Tomorrow Queen.  I've never had a TQ but a free figure sounds good to me!  Especially if they're all as different as the last few TK's have been! I missed out Oya Moon, but this one has me more excited!

peek-a-boo!

that's a bad lower back waiting to happen

ThreeA Releases and Teasers

Expanding on the previous announcement of the new Emile A 239 Spartan, I neglected to mention the Bambaland exclusive Spartan Mark V EVA! This one has all the basic features of the Emile Spartan, but with a different paint job.  Clad in a more unassuming grey wiht some green at the bottom, this exclusive will be a must for any hardcore Halo fan! The latest issue of 3A Vox newsletter has been dedicated to the upcoming Spartan. Check out the scads of photos on the 3AVOX Facebook page!

Ashley Wood has done it again with a surprise release Action Portable SXCLUB Set. The set comprises a 1/12 Ankou figure clad in a creepy sexclub suit and a 1/12 Little Shadow MK2 in latex with a strap on!  Available now for $120 usd incl shipping at Bambaland!

We also have the Adventure Kartel Potato Commander sketch. I believe this is a preliminary drawing of a coming figure. Whimsical and fun, but it worries me a bit. I fear it's going to rehash of the Barguest head and mask, a standard Nom body and probably the Grunt belt. I hope I'm wrong and Ashley Wood will inject something we've never seen before!

Lastly, we have 2 more sketches, posted  only with with the words "Down The Line". With the Tomorrow Kings facing off against more of those pesky robots, one must wonder if these will be sets of TK's and 'Bots? The robot head has been done before so I wonder if it will be an AP sized set to facilitate this monster head? The giant sized robot, dubbed the TK Hunter, is interesting me most; a monster sized popbot of sorts!  I guess there's nothing to do but wait on Ashley Wood!

ThreeA Dead Astronaught Gangsta Release Date and Price

Ashley Wood and ThreeA have set the release date and price for their upcoming Adventure Kartel Dead Astronaut Gangsta. The figures comes in two different colours, black and white. Pricing is set at individually for $160 or as a set for $310 both including shipping. I really liked the whole zombie-ish astronaut look. With all the upcoming releases coming, I'm on the fence with this one, even though I have the 15% 3AA membership discount.  If you're not sure, like me, you have until August 7th to decide!

This set also counts towards the AKLUB with the bonus MS SHADOW figure.  This may be a must buy set if you've if you picked up Golden Dolphin from a few weeks ago.
