DCAY 574 aka Matt Melville is back with a Halloween inspired dunny.. the Cadbury Screme Dunny!  Based on the 3" Dunny platform, this is an amazing work with a realistic looking scuplt that even looks edible!  I don't understand how the chocolate look so realistic.. and the creme filling!  amazing!  Following up his previous creme Dunny, DCAY574 has re sculpted the creme filling and entirely remade the wrapper.  These are available for preorder at DCAY574' s online store.  Move quickly!

Featuring a new custom bottle head and body with the actual Kikkoman cap, The head contains an inner resin shape that really conveys the look of the naturally brewed soy sauceNever one to skimp out in the details, Sket has included a few resin accessories as well. Shenkai Bo by Squink!

Chris Squink and his the works released by Squink! are amazing.  Known for his beautiful yet eerily haunting and ethereal works, the light, airy feel of his works are quite refreshing in a world of heavy, more serious fare.  Today CBT is bringing you the second in the Happy Dream Man series, Shenkai-Bo.  Clearly inspired by the Samurai of old, this oranged headed chap began his training in the squink studio as a normal 3" dunny.  An original head sculpt was created and then cast in resin for the final product.  A glass bead necklace, sword, and armour bits were added to arm this tiny warrior for the days ahead.  Shenkai will arrive complete with a signed & titled eco gift box as well as a numbered collector's card.  You can recruit Shenkai-Bo for £70 on September 19th, 2013 at 9PM BST or 1PM PST

Incoming! The Winter Jackalope by Haus of Boz

Frozen cute!  Haus of Boz have taken the wraps of their upcoming Winter Jackalope! This little critter began life as a 3-inch Dunny and was transformed by the meticulous craftsmen at House of Boz.  Hand sculpted hand painted, and finished in varnish this one-of-a kind little guy will be released into the wild on September 17th at 12:00 noon PST for £65

When the leaves go crunchy, it's the perfect time to spot the Winter Jackalope. He might be in your garden, digging about in your flowerbeds for snacks, leaving behind his signature layer of frost, making turnips all the more delicious, the world over.
The Winter Jackalope is a 3" custom Kidrobot Dunny, sculpted on and painted by hand, finished with varnishes for UV protection.

Frank Kozik teases Dunny Evolved design

This just in! Posted on Frank Kozik's Facebook page 15 minutes ago is a photo of one if his designs for the new Dunny Evolved series coming in October. This collector is guessing it will be his final stage of a figure evolution.  I'm curious to know what the apparatus in the little toy's left hand is. Maybe a jet pack like the Locodonta or maybe something even more 70's outrageous!

Dunny Evolved *sneak peek* shhh

Recently posted in the Kidrobot blog, a sneak peek of the new blind box series 'Dunny Evolved' has been announced. Five upper echelon particular artists have been selected to depict three stages of evolution of a figure. Who are the select top tier toy transmuters selected to transform the dunny platform?  None other than Frank Kozik, McBess, Kronk, Huck Gee, & Scott Tolleson! The deets on the figure platform haven't been released, but I'm speculating on DIY figure evolved into a Dunny.  I'm hoping each artist's offering will be available as a set, or at the least bundled together based on respective stage.  I'm really feeling the Daft Punk vibe and I'm eager to see the final stage designs.  The series releases October 10th, and hopefully more info will be provided between now and then!

Cesar Diaz' Star Wars Custom Series

Cesar Diaz is one of my favorite artists out there.  I enjoy the whimsical spin he puts into his work, along with the cloth accessories he creates, like robes, capes, and whatnot.  I particularly enjoy his carded series, (any carded series for that matter!) because they remind me of those happy days, getting a new action figure from the store, tearing it open and unleashing the little plastic hero within.  This time he's releasing a new series based on everyones favorite heroes from a galaxy far far away! First in line and unveiled with its packaging, is the Jawa Dunny!  This robed scamp will be followed by Jedi Luke and Chewy soon.  For now, make sure to follow Cesar Diaz' Facebook Facebook Page for any updates!

The Dunnibal by Kidrobot x ilovedust

Kidrobot teamed up with design house, ilovedust to create thir next collaboration, The Dunnibal!  This 8" dunny has bloody amazing paintwork detail.  The dunny depicts a beastly creature devouring another to a gruesome effect.  The detail looks intricate and eye catching. I think it will look great next to my Colus dunny!  This beastly 8" Dunny gnashes its way into store shelves on September 26th at kidrobot stores, online and select designer toys stores worldwide with an MSRP of $75

Nemori reveal The Brightfield Bunnies

Nemori, the artistic partnership of Cris Rose and Lunabee, have announced their second collaboration: the Brightfield Bunnies series of custom Dunnys!  these little suckers have with hand-cast resin heads each made with made from original sculpts!

The intricately painted series will be released in a small run of only batch of five pieces. Each of the five will feature hand painted clothes in wonderful detail. It's your choice of which of these 5 works you want adorning your shelves. Personally, I wish I could have them all! but I'm mostly partial to Maple because it reminds me of a certain lop-eared lapin pal, who you readers may know and love!   Willow is a close second with the bright colours. These elusive, one-of-a-kind bunnies are available today August 15th, 2013 at 10am PST at the Nemori online shop.

Kidrobot has revealed their new Pyramidun collaboration with Andrew Bell. It appears the Pyramid head has 3 rotating tiers enabling a myriad of combinations to create a different face!  I'm a fan of Andrew Bell's sculpts and I really like how he's taken the Dunny platform and created something familiar yet completely different.

Following this current trend of recreating their 3" releases into  large formats, Kidrobot has unveiled it's newest 'platform': Art Giants!
